The Cord Driver connects the roadside character of a vintage trucker hat with two names deeply rooted in Texas. Koe Wetzel’s record-and-lightning artwork leads the crown, while the Express locomotive and KW marks appear like patches collected between the tour bus and the ballpark. It is a distinctly local design that brings music, baseball, and Texas culture together from every angle.
Koe Wetzel is a Texas-born singer-songwriter known for blending country, rock, and grunge with a raw, unmistakable sound. The Round Rock Express are the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and this Local Legends collection brings the two together through a shared Texas identity.
