This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from a local black walnut with a ze raw old ferrule

Suited for a 165-210mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
