This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from curly Sugi cedar with a desert ironwood ferrule

Suited for a 165-210mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster
