The silver color comes from the needles that twist to show what is normally the underside of the needles. This is quite attractive. Young plants make a nice dense ball shape. This miniature conifer may reach 2 ft in height and width in 10 years.\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003e‘Kohout’s Icebreaker’ must have good drainage, so do not plant this dwarf conifer in clay and expect it to thrive.
